About Volcano Bay

Volcano Bay is one of the three arms of Universal Orlando theme parks. NBC Universal opened the park on May 25, 2017.

The park has 12 departments. Namely,  Honu of the Honu ika Moana, ika Moana of the Honu ika Moana, Kopiko Wai Winding River, Krakatau Aqua Coaster, Kunuku Boat Bar, Maku Round Raft Ride, Puihi Round Raft Ride, Raki of Taniwha Tubes, Runamukka Reef™, TeAwa The Fearless River™, Waturi Beach, and Waturi Marketplace.

Volcano Bay is named so because of a 200-foot volcano called Krakatau at its center. The park slogan is “water is life. Life is joy.”
