Dolphin mall, the largest shopping outlet in Miami opened its doors to the public for the first time in March 2001. The mall was among the first four malls Taubman Centers launched that year.

Dolphin mall is divided into three districts which are the Playa (beach), Ramblas (Boulevards), and Moda (Fashion). In addition to that, the mall has nine zones with 1400000 square feet of retail selling space.
